An exclusive peek into bringing our trails to life

How did we design this trail and what were our considerations as we developed it? Find out more here!

The voice and agency of our Guides are key

Leading up to an actual trail, our team facilitates sessions to help our Guides articulate their interests, stories, skills, relationships, and more which they can choose to feature in their trail. This is their story to tell, after all.

Partnerships are key

For example, during internal runs, we invite our social worker partners to participate and give us and our Guides feedback on how to improve the content. But we don’t just seek feedback – moral support for our Guides is equally important too.

Stakeholder-centricity is key

For this pilot programme, Skillseed provided remuneration to our Guides for every equipping and co-creating session during the preparation phase itself. This is because we recognise that participating in such sessions would pose opportunity costs for our Guides. Hence, our remuneration helps lower the barrier of participation, and provide them the critical bandwidth needed (see Mindsets-- Scarcity Mindset) to commit to this programme.
