Fadillea is a single mother with two children and has lived in Ang Mo Kio since 2010. Seeing the power and importance of a community and wanting to give back after receiving support as a beneficiary, she started volunteering at Family Service Centre @ Cheng San 445 in 2019.  Fadillea worked as a programme assistant at Allkin Community @ Ang Mo Kio 414 from September 2020 to April 2023. She started out as a part time staff at the Community Hub before transitioning to full time when her colleagues saw her strengths as a community worker. Since leaving the Community Hub in April 2023, Fadillea has been pursuing her aspirations in the early childhood sector.

Fadillea enjoys planning events, connecting and bringing people together. She’s passionate about supporting single mothers because of her lived experiences. She hopes to empower them to have a multiplier effect by involving them in volunteering events and creating opportunities for them to connect with the community. She loves cooking especially for others and Mee Soto is her signature dish! She is a multilingual who can speak fluent English and Malay, basic conversational Chinese and Tamil, and is also a talented Malay dancer.
